About Antonia

Antonia is an illustrator based in Central Victoria, with a background in editorial, marketing, and exhibitions since 2009. Passionate about children’s picture books and storytelling through art, she brings humour and warmth to her illustrations, often aiming to spark imagination and a wry smile. Inspired by childhood, connection, and a touch of mischief, her work blends thoughtful ideas with playful surprises. Antonia works in both traditional and digital media, often combining watercolour, gouache, pencil, and collage with digital techniques. She grew up getting lost in illustrations at the local library, and at the age of five wrote and illustrated her first picture book at school - an experience that sparked a lifelong love of visual storytelling. Today, she is dedicated to creating illustrations that captivate young readers and leave a lasting impression.
